The Brook Tavern
Previously known as the Cattle Market, the Brook Tavern is a sizable three-storey pub located just off Blackpool Road, which underwent a name change in early 2014. The interior of the pub features a single, L-shaped room, equipped with a pool table and multiple television screens. The Brook Tavern offers a menu of traditional pub food and regularly hosts live entertainment, making it a popular spot, especially during major sports events. Interestingly, the modern housing estate situated behind the pub stands on the former site of Preston's cattle market.
