Bowerham Hotel
Constructed in 1901, this impressive structure was originally designed to function as a hotel. However, it has primarily served as a local hub for the bustling suburb of Bowerham. There are now plans underway to begin offering accommodation services. The building's original multi-room layout has been largely transformed into an open-concept space, with the exception of one room that has been preserved. A significant refurbishment in 2016 unveiled the building's old ceilings, providing an opportunity to install chandeliers and add a touch of elegance to the space. This renovation also ensured the building's design aligns with modern trends. In response to the Covid pandemic, a pizza business was launched within the premises. This not only provided a new dining option for locals but also demonstrated the building's adaptability in the face of changing circumstances.
