The Globe, located in the town centre of Wisbech, holds the distinction of being the second oldest pub in the area, with its establishment dating back to 1760. It is conveniently situated on the Market Place, making it a central hub for locals and visitors alike. The pub, which consists of a single room, is known for its lively atmosphere, particularly on Fridays when it hosts a disco night. Over the years, the pub has undergone a few name changes. Originally known as the Globe, it was later renamed the Market Inn. This change was inspired by the landlord's favourite show. However, in 2015, the pub reverted to its original name, the Globe. Despite these changes, one thing has remained consistent - the quality of its beverages. The Globe offers a selection of three real ales, all sourced from the renowned Greene King portfolio. This ensures that patrons can always expect a high-quality, authentic ale experience at the Globe.
