The Britannia Inn
The Britannia, a striking structure made of grit-stone, was acquired by Marston's in 1961 as part of their purchase of the Rothwell estate. The estate had previously been owned by Shaw & Bentley since 1902. Currently, the Britannia is managed by a PubCo and boasts a selection of six beers from the Marston portfolio, a variety that competes with many independent pubs. The interior of the pub is largely open, but also features a private dining area for a more intimate experience.
