The New Castle
The Oakwell Brewery pub, which had previously closed its doors in June 2013, is now under independent ownership. After undergoing a significant refurbishment, it proudly reopened in September 2015. The pub features a rear conservatory that not only captures the warmth and light of sunny days but can also be utilized as a meeting room. Patrons can enjoy reasonably priced food served daily. The pub retains its traditional charm as a local back street establishment, even boasting its own unique caves. Additionally, a pool table is available in the rear bar for guests to enjoy.
