The Gables
The Gables, a charming red-brick establishment, was originally a doctor's residence before being transformed into a pub in the 1950s by the now non-operational Bolton brewer, Magee Marshall. In 2021, the pub underwent a significant renovation, merging the original vault and lounge bars into a single, spacious lounge bar. The Gables also boasts a sizable decking area at the front, offering a delightful outdoor space for patrons to enjoy their drinks in favorable weather conditions. The pub features two handpumps that serve a rotating selection of two beers, ensuring a fresh and diverse offering for beer enthusiasts.
