Masala and Coal @ The Bell Inn

The former Ind Coope local pub, dating back to the 1930s and located near Ruislip Gardens Station, has recently undergone a transformation. The establishment, which is locally listed by the Hillingdon Council, has been refurbished and now operates as a Masala Coal restaurant and sports bar. The interior of the pub maintains its historical charm with minimalistic furnishing and photographs of old Ruislip adorning the walls. The original fireplaces have been preserved, adding to the vintage ambiance. The majority of the pub is carpeted, with the exception of the bar area which features exposed floorboards. However, in line with its new identity as a restaurant and sports bar, the handpumps that were once a staple in the pub have been removed. Despite these changes, the establishment continues to be a testament to its rich history, while offering a fresh and modern dining experience.
