The White Boar Hotel
The White Boar, a popular pub, reopened its doors on November 6, 2016, after undergoing a significant and largely tasteful open-plan renovation. Despite several attempts, the pub was unable to generate enough demand for its stocks of real ale and has decided to discontinue offering cask beer. However, it has diversified its offerings by introducing home-cooked food, which is available from 12 noon to 7 pm on Thursdays through Sundays. The pub, which has positioned itself as the top sporting venue in Bury, proudly displays this claim on its external signage.
