The Duck & Drake
This structure has a rich history, dating back to the late 17th century when it served as a residence for Dutch settlers involved in the draining of the fens. The main bar area is a part of the original house, with various extensions added over the years. In 2009, the property was purchased by a local owner and has since been transformed into a pub that has positively impacted the local community. The pub offers a selection of up to five ales, catering to a variety of tastes. One of its most notable features is the stunning view it provides across the open fens, particularly on clear days.
