Boars Head
Situated at the intersection of Church Street and Newchurch Road, near the historic St Nicholas Church, stands a grand three-storey building. The stone inscription above the entrance reveals that the structure was erected in 1674. The building, which was once a property of Kenyons Brewery, boasts a central bar that caters to three distinct drinking areas. Intriguingly, it is believed that a concealed door in the cellar once led to a subterranean passage connecting the building to the nearby church.
