Blue Pits Inn
The Blue Pits, a welcoming local pub, is conveniently located in the heart of Castleton and can be easily reached by bus or train. The pub proudly serves three types of JW Lees beers at all times. The establishment is divided into three separate drinking areas, with the taproom offering a variety of pub games for patrons to enjoy. The Blue Pits is known for its regular quiz nights and karaoke events, adding to its lively and engaging atmosphere. The pub is housed in a former railway building, which features a unique tiled mosaic of John Willie Lees on its exterior wall. After a temporary closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Blue Pits happily reopened its doors in 2021.
