The Red Lion

The Victorian building, nestled slightly off the steeply inclined Shooters Hill road near its intersection with the South Circular, exudes a warm and welcoming ambiance. The efficient and courteous bar staff further enhance this friendly atmosphere. This establishment, which is a pub, underwent a refurbishment in Spring 2016 under the auspices of the Bermondsey Pub Company. The renovation included the expansion of the kitchen, enabling the pub to serve meals. The bar retains its charming, ancient back and features four hand pumps. Currently, the pub is under the management of an independent licensee.
