The Great Hall
The Great Hall, located within the Cardiff University Student's Union, is a popular venue for a variety of music genres including rock, metal, indie, dance, and folk. It frequently hosts bands and artists touring the UK, particularly when they visit the Welsh capital. The hall can accommodate up to 1,600 fans, making it a vibrant hub for live music. Additionally, it can be combined with the Student's Union's Solus nightclub to create a larger venue with a capacity of 4,000. This expanded space is frequently utilized for larger events, particularly those featuring drum and bass, house, garage, and bass music.
