The Truman pub, a popular establishment from the 1930s, has been rebranded as the Stonegate Craft Union. The pub features two interconnected bars, with the right-hand side having been partitioned in the past. The establishment retains many of its original features, including wooden panelling, leaded windows, and a central stillion with a glazed office. One of the fireplaces even boasts beautiful art deco styling. The pub has maintained its traditional, ungentrified charm, attracting a loyal local clientele. It is equipped with five handpumps, although there are occasions when no real ale is available.
