The Millers Arms
The establishment, previously known as the Hare & Hounds, is a quaint, modernized pub that was renamed in the 1880s. It underwent a significant renovation in 1900 and was managed by Charrington starting in 1924. Subsequently, it was operated by Inn Business and is currently under the management of Punch Taverns. The pub is located in an area that was once populated by numerous flour mills. The pub is particularly popular on weekends, often hosting a DJ to entertain the patrons. Despite discontinuing the offering of real ale in the early 2010s, the pub has recently reintroduced this traditional beverage to its menu. The pub also features a small, charming courtyard at the back, providing an outdoor space for customers to enjoy. Please note that after 10:30 pm, the pub may limit entry to ensure the comfort and safety of its patrons. This pub, with its rich history and modern amenities, offers a unique blend of the old and new, making it a must-visit destination.
