The White Hart
The building, dating back to the 18th century and situated adjacent to the beck, has a rich history as it once served as the village jail. Today, it houses a public bar equipped with a pool table, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for patrons. The lounge area is primarily designed for dining, offering a comfortable and inviting space for meals. In July 2023, the building was given a new lease of life when it was reopened by Dough LoCo, a local pizza establishment. The transformation of this historic building into a vibrant dining and socializing spot is a testament to the adaptive reuse of heritage structures.
