Originally, the pub was divided into multiple rooms, but it was transformed into an open layout in the 1970s. Despite the changes, the original structure can still be inferred from the beams and rafters that adorn the ceiling. The pub offers food from Wednesday to Sunday, making it a convenient dining option for patrons. Additionally, it provides easy access to boat moorings located directly across on the Fossdyke canal, adding to its charm and convenience.
