The Inn On The Green
Constructed from limestone rubble and topped with a pan tile roof featuring gable stacks, this charming inn, aptly named for its location on the village green, is steeped in history. Previously known as the Generous Britain, it began its life in the 17th century as a beer house. Today, the pub maintains its traditional charm with two rooms, one of which is primarily dedicated to dining. The house beer is sourced from Ferry Ales (FAB), ensuring a quality local brew for patrons. Additionally, for those who prefer to enjoy their meal at home, the inn offers a takeaway collection service available from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
