Little Driver
Constructed in 1851 and later refurbished around 1900, this establishment features a single room with a nearly island-style bar. The property also boasts a spacious beer garden at the back, which is frequently visited by a neighborhood feline. The pub is equipped with four television screens, each capable of broadcasting different matches simultaneously. In May 2022, following the end of its lease, the venue was relaunched as a Craft Union pub. Notably, a gilded mirror bearing the inscription 'Hoare & Co's Celebrated Stout' that once adorned the right-hand wall was removed during the renovation process. While the availability of Real Ale is not consistent, it is more likely to be found on tap around the time of West Ham home games. This pub, with its rich history and modern updates, offers a unique blend of old and new, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and visitors.
