This charming village pub, featuring beamed ceilings, was acquired at the end of 2015, at which point it changed its name from the Nags Head. The pub is free of tie and enjoys strong community support. It also boasts a smaller, separate bar area with a pool table for patrons to enjoy. In early 2019, the pub changed hands once again, returning to individual ownership. Fast forward to Spring 2023, 8 Sail Inns Ltd took over the management of the pub. They have plans to make minor enhancements to the establishment, including the restoration of a real fire to add to its cozy ambiance. The pub is known for regularly serving beers from the local 8 Sail Brewery, providing patrons with a taste of the local brew. In addition, every other Thursday, the pub hosts a pizza van and an Indian restaurant, offering a diverse range of food options for its customers. This pub continues to be a beloved local spot, combining traditional charm with modern amenities and a variety of food and drink options.
