Oxford Arms
This is a description of a historic 17th-century timber-framed structure, which last underwent refurbishment in the 1930s. The building retains its original off-sales hatch, located in the entrance porch. The interior features small bars on both the left and right sides, each boasting 1930s-era bar backs and panelled counter fronts. These counters have been updated with new tiled tops. The left-hand room also houses a fireplace from the same period. A more recent addition to the pub is the room located at the rear-right. An interesting feature to note is the old bell-box situated within the lounge's servery. This building is a testament to its historical roots, offering a glimpse into the past while still functioning as a modern establishment.
