Gabriel Latchin Trio
British pianist and composer Gabriel Latchin, a leading figure on the British jazz scene, brings together his trio to showcase bebop at its finest.
Praised by The Guardian's Dave Gelly as “the best straight-ahead jazz pianist to appear in the past few years”, Latchin will be performing music from his four critically acclaimed albums. With a new Gershwin record coming out early next year, this evening will also feature some brand new arrangements of well-loved classics.
With thousands of albums sold and 30 million streams, Latchin's international presence is growing fast. Recently awarded four stars in both The Times and The Guardian, the trio has also been featured in DownBeat (USA) and Jazz Japan.
