Eggbox: An Evening Of Short Films And New Writing
After a sellout launch in 2023, Eggbox, a showcase of the best work coming out of the scripted comedy scene, returns with more short films and script readings from some of the UK's best writers, filmmakers and performers. Curated by Joz Norris (Comedians' Choice Award Winner, nominated for the David Nobbs Memorial Trust New Comedy Writing Award and Chortle Award for Best Variety Act) and Miranda Holms (BBC Comedy Collective, shortlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Award and the Funny Women Writing Award), the team behind the critics' choice BBC Radio 4 sitcom The Dream Factory. This time, we have:
- Premiere and exclusive screenings from Joz Norris and Miranda Holms; Aruhan Galieva, Jac Clinch & Benjamin Adnams; Sam Pilbeam & The Lovely Boys; Christina Riggs & Kyle Shephard; and Sam O'Leary and Tom Lawrinson
